THIS ISN'T DESIGN THEORY.
It’s what I’ve learned from years inside real homes with thoughtful people who want their space to feel like them, not like a showroom.
You’ve already made some great choices. A sofa you love, a paint colour that felt right in the shop, maybe even a piece of art that still makes you smile. But somehow, the room still doesn’t feel quite right.
The good news? You don’t need to start over. Design With What You’ve Got helps you make sense of what’s already there, spotting the small misalignments that throw things off and learning how to bring everything back into balance.
With our free download, let’s get your room moving in the right direction… and make sure you know what to look for next time!
YOU MIGHT BE HERE
01
You’ve already made a few choices that felt right. A sofa you love, a paint colour that made sense at the time. Now you feel like they don't belong together.
02
You’re second-guessing everything. Not because you don’t have taste, but because you’ve got too many moving parts and can't quite name what's off.
03
You’re hesitant to move forward because you don’t want to make it worse. You want a home that feels intentional, not improvised, and you don’t want to reinvent the wheel to get there.
BUT YOU COULD BE HERE
01
Finally understanding what's not working and how to resolve it... without redoing everything.
02
Less reactive, more refined in your next design decision. Confident in how to work with what you already have.
03
Able to read your space like a designer would, with clarity and context, because it now flows as beautifully as it’s furnished.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
“Kate is an excellent project manager. My project was one that started out as some “redecoration here and there” but then turned into a full house renovation. Kate simply took that in her stride and was instrumental in helping to ensure that it all came together – that sort of professionalism is hard to come by”
Maryann
FULHAM
“Kate and her team have a great address book of suppliers covering not only bespoke rugs but also sofa makers, curtain and blind makers, decorators, upholsterers and carpenters. – all through they were efficient, punctual and kept us updated on progress”
Karen and Colin
MARLOW
“Kate opened our minds to new colours, styles, furniture and ideas. The result is 3 wonderfully refurbished rooms full of ‘our’ colour!”

MEET KATE
FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I’ve always been fascinated by the emotional language of space. How colour, light, and placement can turn the way we feel in a room.
Before founding Kate Lovejoy Interiors, I spent over a decade designing sets for films like The Matrix and Troy, learning how to build entire worlds around a feeling. That experience gave me the technical precision and creative vision I still use today.
But what shapes my work now is people. The lives they’re living. The chapters they’re in. The spaces they need to come home to. Design, for me, is not about impressing, it’s about understanding.
I offer a personalised, one-to-one approach, beginning with a complimentary 30-minute consultation to explore your requirements.
