Full Home Interior Design in Maidenhead, Berkshire
Award-winning garden designer Sarah has cultivated an outdoor space bursting with life, filled with layered colour, bold planting, and thoughtful composition. Indoors, it was a different story. The home’s interiors, dominated by stony, sandy tones, felt muted and disconnected from the creativity that blossomed within the garden. Neither Sarah nor her husband, Sal, had ever truly connected with the indoor space. Ready for a change, they were craving colour, character and interiors that evoked the same joy as the garden. They needed a garden-inspired interior design makeover.
HOVER OVER & SEE THE CHANGE
Beginning with our Colour & Style boards, it became clear that Sarah was drawn to the lightness and energy of the Spring and Summer palettes. Fresh greens, soft blues and delicate pinks. With this direction in place, the rest of the garden-inspired interior design naturally unfolded.
We used Edward Bulmer’s natural paints throughout, with green as our grounding shade. It’s nature’s neutral and helped every room feel gently connected to the view outside. Pattern and personality were introduced through carefully chosen fabrics from Charlotte Gaisford and Vanessa Arbuthnott. Heavy doors were replaced with glazed ones to invite in light, while cast iron radiators added warmth and a softness that echoed the new mood of the home. Layer by layer, the house began to come to life.
The deep tones of the staircase perfectly complement the garden-led interior design, tying the space together with effortless sophistication.
Imagined as a memorable first impression, St Timothee’s entrance hall sets the tone for what’s to come. Soft greens and blues, with warm wood accents, echo the garden outside. It feels calm, open and connected. A gentle welcome that draws you in and leads you out to nature.
The transformation is both subtle and striking. Every detail was chosen with flow, comfort, and connection in mind. Now, Sarah and Sal’s home is effortlessly cohesive and filled with light. The palette reflects the surrounding garden, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out, while also capturing the creative spirit of the owners. Sarah and Sal’s openness to the process allowed for a design that oozes quiet confidence – a beautifully bloomed indoor space.
Staying true to the selected palette, tonal furnishings complement the outside backdrop of St Timothee.
